Spring Break 2011

Well, Spring Break 2011 was very eventful, yet very relaxing. We cleaned, ate, played, cut hair, baked, baked in the sun, swam, walked in the tide pools, bike rode, and just plain had fun. Here's just a snapshot of the week!

The Secret to America's Greatness

Daniel Boone AKA Scott

Christopher Colombus and Lady Liberty

2nd Grade Play The Secrets Of America's Greatness

At the Fiesta following the play The Second Graders at Harvest Christian Academy put on the most exciting play. They recited the Gettysburg Address, sang several songs, went back in time to meet some of America's Heros, and had a grand time with it all! Scott even sang a solo.....adorable if I do say so myself.

Fanciful Feet

Here's Shane just thinking about putting his feet in.
Someone caught this shot, as I'm beginning to get up the courage to put my feet in.
Having a very interesting experience. These little fishes, without teeth, come to clean your feet. Went to a friend's house where they have 80 of these little fishies in a specalized aerated tub, where they are actually bred just for this purpose.  It's quite an interesting way to have a pedicure!

It's such a crazy feeling, It's hard to keep your feet in the water!

We all tried, and couldn't believe dad wanted to try too. It was so fun, yet so strange at the same time. After you got used to those little fishies "Kissing your Feet" it was actually quite relaxing.

Career Day

Here's Katie Jo dressed in Dad's Pilot outfit. She sure looks sharp! Who knows, someday she may actually learn to fly!
Scott decided to wear his Aikido outfit...I think he loves Aikido, but don't know if he'll pick that as his career?!? Shane decided to dress like a scientist, he's looking at some fine detail on a CD.... who knows maybe he'll be the next NCIS forensic scientist?
And here's NellieMae ready for her first day at UOG.....exciting anticipation!

Shane is 12!

It's so hard to believe that our ShaneBoy is already 12 years old. Time sure flies when you're having fun. That's Shane's outlook on life. Always having fun! He usually looks for the best in things, is quite the energy giver, always has a smile on his face, and still loves riding horses. He has also come to enjoy many of the adventures here on Guam. He enjoys "boonie stomping" , snorkeling, swimming, wading in the tide pools, flying remote control planes-thanks to Dad, playing the ukulele, and making people laugh. He also loves to eat, and calls himself "husky". There's not much that doesn't make Shane smile. It's a joy to watch him grow!

David Scott Edward Prince Handsome Cowboy Giese

It's so hard to believe that my (our) little man is already 7 years old.He is a very easy-going, lovable, trustworthy, kind, energetic, and if I do say so myself (I'm his mom) very smart. He loves to be outside, anywhere, anytime. Loves to swim, ride his bike, snorkel, eat sushi, pizza, and hotdogs with lots of catchup. He enjoys watching movies and having a bowl of ice cream or a black cow on Friday nights, Aikido, Lego creations, cooking, animals, school, climbing trees, his family, and has a great imagination. Overall, he's a typical little boy who loves the Lord Jesus, and shows that love to his family and friends. We're so honored to have him in our family. He is the bottom of 8 kids, he knows it, loves his position in the family, sometimes uses it to his advantage, and has a special place in all of his brothers' and sisters' heart.
